2000 4dr 4x4 v6

With just the daytime running lamps on, my digital compass and temperature (on the headliner in front of rear view mirror) and my dashboard lights (speed/odo/etc) all work properly.

However, when it gets dark and the headlights turn on (or I turn them on manually) all my interior gauges turn off completely.

It started this past winter after hitting a big pot hole, and no amount of smacking the dash board has seemed to fix anything.

I can live with the problem, it just gets a little irritating having to turn on my dome lights or use a flashlight to be able to see my speed and gas gauge at night.
