Default Turn signal blinkers not working

In the last couple weeks I noticed my left turn signal seemed to be blinking kinda fast and not normal then all the sudden today neither blinkers are working. Windshield wipers and Cruise control on same column switch seem to be working fine. Any idea waht could be wrong? I checked the fuse for turn signal and it looks ok.

When a signal blinks at double rate it means that a bulb on that circuit is out. Pay close attention though. Some bulbs have a double element and sometimes one is still good while the other is burned out. Example - sometimes a running light will also be a turn indicator.
