double din help
Couple weeks ago my Alpine CD player got stolen outta my blazer. I put an old one I had laying that came outta my Rhino but its about one its last leg.
I've been wanting to put a double din touchscreen for awhile now. So what is a good touchscreen with nav? I'm also wanting a back up camera.I've been looking at getting this one. Pioneer AVIC-8000NEX. What's yalls thoughts?

I did this recently to my Jimmy

However it does draw attention so I would figure out how to lock it down

I quite enjoy mine. The one I have comes loaded with iGo maps (I have the international package so everything is in km by choice), however you can load in your TomTom maps or any other map package you wish.
It takes a bit to get setup just they way you like but that is the beauty of having the Android OS, you can customize it and use the Google Play store for support.
Overall I'm happy with mine, and use it on a daily basis. Any specific questions with it?

Cool deal
Word of caution is to compare features. There are a lot in the same housing as mine that come with different features, OS's and hardware. If you're going with Android 4.4, I would recommend ensuring at least 1GB of RAM to ensure you don't experience lag when programs are running overlay (i.e. Navigation and music or Torque).
If you like different versions of Android, you can get those versions too. Just ensure you do your research before you buy

I have the exact same model as tenorsaxdode. I got a double din radio bezal from another user on S10forum. I like the head unit ok, but I have a few gripes about it. However, for the cost, it is way better than anything else.
