Default Fuel Gauge stuck near the halfway mark

I have a 94 Chevy S10 Blazer SLT Tahoe and noticed the gas gauge is stuck near the halfway mark. Put in about $15 of gas and it didn't move, so I know something has gone wrong somewhere. Not sure if it is the sending unit or maybe something has stuck. Don't want to be stuck by running out of gas and don't want to have to keep watching the odometer all the time to guesstimate how much gas I have left.

So could it be the sending unit or maybe just a fuse that has blown? I figured that if it was either then the gauge would read E all the time. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions on this.
