Panel/Switch Backlighting

Panel/Switch Backlighting
I just finished up replacing my leaking heater core in my 99 Blazer LT and after reassembling my dash I'm finding that I have a few lights out for buttons in my interior. I have the 4-Button 4WD switch up top and while the indicator light for each button works to indicate whether I am in 2HI, 4HI, 4LO, or AUTO 4WD the backlight behind each button that lights up the text so I can see the buttons at night time only works on the AUTO 4WD button.
Also, my passenger door power window/lock switch has a dead backlight, my driver door power window/lock switch has a very dim light illuminating it, and my A/C and Heater control panel lights work but the 4 bottom buttons (outside air selector, inside air selector, A/C, and Defroster buttons) are not illuminated. Did pulling this out and moving them to the cargo area jumble them and damage certain bulbs within them?
