Default Power mirror conversion

I have a 98 2 door blazer and was wondering what I would need to pick up to swap the mirrors out to be power, I lost the passenger mirror so I figured if I had to replace it I might as well as pick everything up needed to swap some power ones in. Anyone know if part of the harness is put in all the trucks or if I would have to run wires to thru the whole thing? It would be ideal if all I had to do is clip the mirrors behind the connectors and I could plug every thing up but idk if it'll work that easy. I'm still new to the truck so I'm finding my way around it a little slower than I would like thanks for your input

There is a chance that the harness is already there. I have read of people putting in power seats and the harness is already under the carpet. You would have to pull the mirrors and door panels and find out.

do you have power windows? Manual windows, the only wiring I had in the door was for the speaker. Power windows might have a better chance of having the wiring for the mirrors already there.

Thanks for the input! No power windows either. I popped the door panel off and no dice. I'm hopping that changes for the power seats tho I'm waiting patiently on another black leather interior bravada to pop in the pnp

It looks like your power mirror dream will be a pipe dream for now unfortunately since the wiring is not there.

Getting the power window harness for both sides can be done and with the right wiring diagrams you can put it in the OEM spot it would be if the truck came with them.
But then there comes getting the BCM programmed to enable that feature if i am not mistaken. And that needs to be done at a dealer and with their prices I cant imagine they would take less than a hand or a few fingers.

You are better off dealing with manual mirrors.

As for your seats, You can easily google how to get power to a power seat, when your vehicle did not have power seats to begin with if the harness is not under the carpet. Its not super hard to do since the switch and the motor and everything is built into the seat, it basically just needs power.

Yea I agree with you 100% power seats aren't as much of a hassle as trying to wire the mirrors and such, I'll be okay I got bigger things to work on in this thing lol
