Default Swapping Individual DRLs for LED pods

Hey guys, new user on the blazer forums and new to blazers. I have two 4x4 inch Led pods I´d like to put in place of the Small individual DRLs, would this be possible? I´m aware of the slight size difference but it looks as though my pods would fit, i´m just unsure of of I could mount it and with the wiring.

The daytime running lights are the hi-beams operating at reduced voltage. Removing them will leave you without hi beams.

First post in these forums and I make a fool of myself. I guess that's what I get for making a post about a vehicle I'm not too familiar with. My blazer has the small (fog lights?) Next to the amber turn signal housings, that is what I was insinuating, I need to study up on these a bit more before I classify as a clown. Are the fog lights and turn signal housing all one connected housing? Or can I swap in my pods?

They are sort of, but the fog lights can be removed from the assembly.

That's actually a neat idea about putting the small LED pods down there, I'd like to see it done!

I will update the thread as I get to it, gotta read up on the wiring diagrams. Thankfully being the son of a electrician means wiring diagrams are as easy as a book. But modifying the brackets won´t be as easy
