Temperature gage at normal driving?

Default Temperature gage at normal driving?

I have a 97 blazer and I want to know what the temperature gage should be at when normal driving? I just changed the water pump cause it would over heat now I wanna know what the gage should be at

Well i have a 99 and it runs about 200-210 max.
Did you get all the air out of the system? Flush the lines?

if you're rolling down the road, it shouldn't be past high noon lol

you can also buy a 185* thermo in there too, they're pretty easy to change

Nope, these engines are designed with the 195* thermostat. Stick with that one.

I have not flushed the line but its around the middle of the gage at like 210

Mine ran at around 180 since I had owned it then a while back I had an overheating issue and changed the thermostat, temp sending unit and the radiator and now it usually runs around 190. So I learned the norm operating temp can fluctuate a lil when new parts are introduced.
