Turn Signals Not Working

Turn Signals Not Working
Hello everyone,
I have a 1997 s10 Blazer 4x4 LT and the turn signals are not working. When I press the turn signal one way or the other I hear no audible clicks from the flashers and the indicators do not go. All fuses are fine and I know the problem is not the flashers because I switched the hazard and turn signal flashers and I was still getting the audible clicks from the hazards but not the turn signals. With the hazards on, they are only blinking in the back, not the front. All 4 amber indicator/parking bulbs are working properly. With the brake pressed in, if i were to put the turn signal to the left, the left brake light turns off, and same with the right side. I fear that I may have accidentally pulled out a wire that I shouldn't have as I began to have these symptoms after I was doing some work with the dashboard and steering column covers removed. This may be a separate issue but I saw two wires connected to a plastic connector inside the steering column located between the ignition and steering wheel. The wires are green/white and black. Here is a pic of them:
I have been looking around for quite a while and can't seem to find where they connect to.
Thanks for any and all help you can provide me with!

After a bit more research I found that it seems to be my hazard switch. I am ordering one right now from amazon Will update once I receive part.
