I have a 95 4.3L CPI 4x4 LS blazer green metallic 4 door, with 315,000 kms on the clock!!! I picked It up for 900.00 5 years ago with 306,000kms on it check engine light on, missing like crazy! Did plugs and wires, ran like top until last year it died! I though the motor blew turned out he EGr stuck wide open (fix no cost lol..removed chuck of carbon) This is my winter beater only gets driven in the winter, and its been fun, reliable especially for its high mileage, age! Parts are cheap, and most of it is easy to work on!


I also replaced the rear wiper motor, and resister pack, left mirror, (someone put a manual mirrior on that side and it killed the passenger, they boht need to be power to work). I replaced the master cylinder, and power steering pump, last year.


Recently I did idler, pitman arm calipers and flex lines, only think on the to do list now is the intermit ant drivers window? it goes down always, and every third time it wont go up, wait 30seconds and it goes up, no clue...lol


I have free shop space at my dads paint shop, and get parts at cost from the local Lordco, I'm very mechanically inclined, love to wrench!
