Potential New Blazer Owner Seeking Advice
what's up, everybody? my name is Nato. i am looking to purchase a used Blazer and i'm going to a dealership tomorrow to take a look at one. here are the specs:
2003 Chevy Blazer LS 4x4
- white
- 95,000 miles
- auto
- power locks/windows
- like new tires
- clean cloth interior
- 3 month/4,500 mile warranty
they are asking $6,500 for it.
here are my questions:
1. what is a reasonable offer i should negotiate for?
2. are there any major problems with these Blazers i should look out for?
3. at 95,000 miles, is there anything i will need to replace (if it hasn't been already) or will need to soon replace?
any advice or feedback would be very appreciated.
thanks!!

I have had mine for a little of a year now. If I was buying again I would look mainly at three things.
1) Intake gasket leaking
2) Heater box--Make sure all vent positions work correctly.
3) Make sure heater core isn't leaking.
For me, these are the most costly or potentially the most costly. Pretty much anything else that goes wrong with Blazers isn't all that bad. (I do all my own repairs)
I think $6500 is high but price depends on where you live. I would give no more than $5K and that's if it needs absolutely nothing done to it.
