Default Need some help

So a bunch of friends and I went offroading this afternoon. After going up a hill I probably shouldn't have I hit a tree and had to be pulled out. My buddy tried his winch which didn't work so he tries reversing to pull me out. Didn't work. So he backed up the hill and pulled me out. Now he is claiming his clutch is burned up from pulling me out. Should I pay for the repAir? What do yall think? I kinda feel bad, but feel like if his clutch was weak it was only a matter of time, bug I wanna do right by my friend.. I also bustes my radiator, so that is another expense I am incurring.

I would help him with the wrenching on the re and re

However if you had to call out a wrecker if one would have even came to your location it would have likely cost you $50-100
Handing him a $100 would maybe be generous
