Default Are S-10 Blazer front seats swappable?

I own a 2000 S-10 Blazer Lt 4Dr with full power leather seats. The drivers side seat cushion is fraying on the left side bolster (typical location). I'm thinking that instead of just getting the 10 year old seat cushion recovered (and hoping it'll match the rest of seat) I'd try to locate a passenger seat and install it instead. I figured since they're hardly ever used it'd be in better condition (cushion and leather) than another drivers seat. My issue is whether the seats are actually the same (or is there a left and right?) and if I can just put one on the drivers side. I realize the switches would have to be swapped as well and could just use my original seats hardware. I'm not sure how this would work with the drivers side memory feature though.

I'm pretty sure the motors/track are built into the seat rather than just a bracket attached to the bottom. You could always just try swapping over your existing passenger seat. They're pretty easy to remove

Then I would still need a replacement seat for the passenger side.

its a lot more work than it sounds. id check out how much a used leather seat cost first. then get a price on recovering ur current one. i dont believe there is a difference in them though.

You're right, it probably would be a lot easier to get mine recovered and with new cushions since I've been reading several threads mentioning the difficulty's of getting the Torx head bolt out. Plus it's an 8-way power seat which might be hard to come by. Also, I know everything on my seat works; who's to say another used one wouldn't give me problems.
