Default side rear window trim on 2001 extreme

I recently purchased a 2001 Blazer extreme and the trim that goes around the side rear windows is worn out. It seems as though the sun has worn the plastic out causing it to be rough in texture and loss of it color. What is the best way to repair these without replacing them. I think I have noticed the same thing on other 2 door blazers. Thanks in advance for your help.

My 01 has the same issue. I recently repainted the grille as well as turn signals, tail lights, and bowtie. My next project is the rear window trim. I'll be using a product called Mothers Back to Black.

Can you post a pic of how bad they are? if their not able to be sanded and primed and painted then you may need new.MIne have sum spots along the top that look like their just wearing away I may be able to sand them b4 they get too bad, i already painted mine with Krylon plastic paint just to get sum shine out of them.

I painted the ones on my old 99 blazer with Krylon Fusion. Just sanded them down and painted them. Turned out great. Lucky for me the ones on the bravada come painted body color from the factory.
