My first car was a brand new, 94 S-10. I loved that thing. Actually went to look at the new Monte's because they just brought those back. I parked by the truck lot at the local stealership.

Checked out the Monte, was walking back to the girlfriend's car. The newly redesigned S-10 caught my eye. Apparently, I caught the salesman's eye. One thing lead to anohter, and this 18 year old, recent highschool grad was driving a brand new S-10. It was an absolute base model. It was a 5 speed, 4 cyl. No, i mean NO, options. NO floor mats, deforester, nothing... In fact, it didn't even have a radio. It had just a piece of plastic where the radio would go. No antenna either. Told you it was base LOL

But I loved that thing. Drove it for about a year, had TONS of fun. Put about 17K on it, only changed the oil once. Talk about young and dumb.

Traded it for a car because I thought I had a kid on the way...turns out it wasn't even mine....another story for another day. Always wanted another S-10, now, I have an S-10 Blazer LOL

My dad gave me my first vehicle. It was a 1984 Toyota pickup 2wd. Had manual everything. Steering, windows, locks and transmission. Had the carbureted 22R, 2.4L 4 cylinder. Got amazing gas mileage.

My first vehicle was a 1986 Ford Bronco with a 351w and c6 my grandpa gave me when I was 15 cause it sit at my parents house rotting away. My dad and I rebuilt the motor. Had to bore it 20 over and put a rv cam in it with a Edelbrock intake and carb. Lifted 4" with 33s. I love that Bronco till my sister rolled it couple winters ago

My parents gave me a red 91 F150, my dad helped me fix it when he bought it from a friend. Nothing flashy, just functional. I really wish i took better care of it though, sold it after just a few years.

94 jimmy, Got it for 800$

Had some fun with it and it ended up being a convertible at some point in time before getting beat to death in the woods in Michigan.

Hit a few trees off roading:

And sawzall convertible:
