Default Center Link

I have a 2001 4 wheel drive Blazer. I had new tires put on and wanted to have the Frontend aligned. I was told that I needed to have some parts replaced. one of the parts was the center link.

I can find 2 wheel drive center links all day long but can not find any for 4 wheel drive. Are they both the same? I need to get this done before it gets too cold to work on outside.

Any help at all would be appreciated.

if im not mistaken the 4WD do not need to be changed. the moving parts are the pitman are and the idler arm...I did not have to replace mine when I did the whole front end...and looking back now, I would go back and tell myself to find a centerlink from a ZR2 and add the stabilizer shock.

I don't think the ZR2 center link will fit a non ZR2 blazer.

The 4WD center link only needs to be replaced if it is damaged or if there is excessive wear where the idler/pitman arms and tie rods are connected to it.

The 4WD center links are not available new or aftermarket, you will have to find a used one if you need one...

Hope that helps
