Sway Bar Link Clearance Issue?
I was going to post this in my thread, but I didn't want anyone to think I was just doing more b***hing about more problems. I bought new sway bar links from Napa, and by the time I had it tightened down to 11 ft/lbs, the bolt was sticking pretty far up, further than the old one. I'm a little worried about contact with the tie rod. Should I cut off the excess with a hacksaw? Here's some pictures to show what I'm talking about:

It looks like youre good for up and down travel. The tie rod doesnt move side to side. But if youre worried about it then you can cut the bolt just make sure you leave plenty of threads so the bolt doesnt back off.

I dunno... looks like if the weight is on the control arm and on a turn the tie rod could hit.
Why not turn the bolt so the nut is down?

I only put it in like that because that's the way it came off. Any reason why I can't turn it the other way? I'll probably turn it around if not.

Now I know how the bushing goes lol. Man did I have it installed wrong, so wrong that they both broke off lol

To be honest it took me a few minutes to figure it out, since the stock links have plastic pieces in the middle instead of the washers and metal bushing.

What I would like to know is why you got rubber from napa, that is rubber, right?
When all they had at my store was two identical {except for color} sets of poly bushings. Why I picked the cheapest.
