Default Help-Ball Joint Replacement-96 Blazer 4x4

Hello, I am new here and posting this for an older friend of mine who does not have a computer and wants to help his son work on his 96 Blazer 4x4. They need to change the ball joints. Can anyone post how to do this or know where to find it. Anything illustrated would be welcome also.

Thank you

You mean like the entire procedure? I would recommend your friend purchase a service manual and read through the steps. It's not rocket science. They will need a good floor jack and jack stands.

There are a few different ways to approach this repair. Getting a service manual and running a quick search will shed a lot of light on the procedure.

Read this:

The only thing I would change is to break the axle nut (36mm) before you jack up the truck. That way you don't have to put it in 4x4 or anything.
