im 17 and i feel like in my 4.3 v6 blazer it wouldnt be worth it. too much wear and tear and everything mechanically. my 70 pontiac lemans with a rebuilt 355 and 4 speed. different story lol. acouple weeks ago i was in my 86 c-10 shortbed and i spun out and crushed a telephone pole so it really changed my outlook on when it's okay to "hotrod" so to speak. and for the record. toyo proxes. not okay to drive in rain. haha.

Today i laid a little rubber going backwards because someone thought it would be funny to toss a water bottle at my truck while i was cruising by. The weird thing was when i looked at the spot where i lit the tires up i had both of them spinning, this is weird because i don't have a g80 No damage from the bottle because blazers are built like a rock, or just bottle proof...

i do them sometimes. i can only get my right tire to spin when its dry out though. i dont really feel like wasting my new tires so fast so i try not to do them so much. i just like knowing i can do it. lol

Only had my 2wd blazer several weeks now and never thought to try a burnout on this "one legged dog". MY '90 nissan hardbody lil 4 cylinder i just retired, totally different story. I could burn those tires all the way through 2nd with no problem... limited slip in a little truck...guess i caused a lotta damage though... rear end finally went out at 300k with the motor still running. ran through so many sets of tires on her i lost track a few years back. Thinking of tossing in another rear end just to see how many miles the motor will go for. Just not sure I have the time to find out.

im 25 and ive gone threw more sets up tires than i can remeber burning them off. most of the vehicles r nothin special, its more of driving manner and experience behind wheel. my blazer will go threw sets of tires brake standing it, but also just let the tires loose for blocks. ive ran into little to no rear end problems just go threw u joints alil faster.

........drive it like u build it........

No burnouts in my Blazer. Then again I never take my drag car mudding either.

Not so easy to do burnouts in suv but they can be done.... Now doing donuts in the dirt or grass is the way to go!
