Default RE: lift kits

Cheap and strong and lift don't go into the same sentance. Cheap would be a body lift thats about it. Strong is really not very descriptive. Do you want it to be stong as in a daily driver or do you want to beable to take it on trails mud pits and rocks and beat the crap out of it. I'm guessing the latter and the only way it will hold up to all that is a solid front axle. IFS will break if you push them, I can garentee that. The IFS is simply not able to withstand the forces of a 35" tires, it's made for a 28-29" tires driven on the road. A solid front axle will give you the strength but it's not going to come cheap. IFS lifts don't come cheap either. There really isn't a cheap and strong lift. Your options range from a body lift ($120 range) to a t-bar lift ($500 range I also highly reccomend not doing this stuff will probably break all the time) to say a 6.5" super lift ($I think aroung $1800 but still in that realm) to a solid front axle which can be built for realitivly cheap if you know how to fabricate and produce perfect welds. If not the price very well maybe astronomical for a custom SAS.
