15"x7" with 4" backspacing on 4x4 S10

I dont remember the difference inn width front vs rear wheels, but i seem to remember that the front wheels is about an inch further out then the rear wheels?
If it is one inch difference then a one inch lower backspacing would put the wheels equally far out in the wheel arch. 4.5" BS in the front and 3.5" BS in the rear, thats if the wheels are the same width though.
Another option would be to use 8" width and 7" in the front, and both wheels with 4.5" BS. But then you might encounter a problem with getting the same diameter on the tires as the e.g. 235/75/15 tires would be streched a bit on the 8" rim vs the 7" rim.

What I currently have for wheels are stock 2wd sonoma wheels. They are 15x7 with I believe 4.5" backspacing. I really can't tell any difference as far as sticking out.
The 8 in rim would still be fine for a 235/75/15. However the problem would be that you couldn't rotate tires front to back with that setup, only side to side.
But hey, it's your ride, do what you like, not neccesarily what other people think you should do and in the end you will be much happier with the result.

i think i am going to go with these http://www.4wheelparts.com/Wheels/Ro...pn=PCW152-5762
they will work right? what does Max Load=1600 lbs mean

Those should work fine and look really good. Max Load = the maximum amount of weight that the wheel can support. So in other words with 4 1600lb max load wheels, equalling out to 6400lbs distributed among the four, they should hold up to the weight of your blazer and anything you can put in it/ on it/ without failing

Lol I know what you mean about the winter. No need to be sorry, to be honest I didn't even notice it lol

So does anyone know how much the front wheels stick out from the rear? I would assume people would know as some have ordered spacers/wheel adapters to fix this issue.
