Default 20s or 22s on a '98 Blazer

Hey, I would like to put some rims on my Blazer, but I'm unsure of how to go about buying them.

Can someone tell me what rim size and tire size I need to look for to fit some 22s on a stock height '98 4x4?
Also, Blazer's are 5 lug, correct?

If 22s won't fit, then 20s will be fine.
Also, if possible, I want the tire height to be the same as stock.

Thanks.

20's max please. Tire size 245/45/20 if you plan on keeping it stock height.

Hey NJ4x4 why couldn't he run 22's? I've seen quite a few 2nd gens run them with either no rubbing or just needing to clearence the inner fender a bit. And with 265/35/22, that would be 29.3 inch tire and the factory 235-75-15 is a 28.9 inch tire. And that 4/10th of an inch wouldnt throw the speedo off by much.

Just wondering why you said 20's are max? And the bolt pattern is 5x4.75 or 5x120.65 just like NJ said. Backspace of cource is 6 inches on the 4wd.

Because 35's are practically rubber bands and since the truck will be stock height it'll look odd. Below is what my truck looked like at stock height with 20's. Oh btw back space for a 4wd is 6", so try to stay close to that number. Centerline makes wheels with a 5" and 5.5" backsapce which will work.

Yeah overlooked the 4wd post. I fixed that, I'm used to only 2wd guys wanting 22's or better lol. That's a good reason. I ran my 22's with that size tire. And it would have worked great cept for the wrong backspacing. I was blazer illeterate back then. Some people don't mind ridin on skinnys, some do.

I just thought you meant they wouldn't work at all. And I know better than that. I've seen little first gens with 26's. (with a small lift offcource, ). Good point on the skinny tires though, does make for a rough ride. But some people want looks over comfort. Then some like you go for both. Yours is still one of my fav trucks on here!

That's cool. I just was trying to see what you were getting at. I know you knew they would work and knew you had a reason for not reccomending it. I just didn't want you to think I was trying to say you didn't know what you were talking about or anything like that cause you've done more in the wheel and tire department than I have.

Imnotmikal, to some it up, either size will fit. But the 22's will give a rougher ride and you will have to watch potholes and hazards in the road like a hawk. Plus with 22's your speedo and odometer will be off a little unless you recalibrate the settings which can be done electronicly through the obdII port ( if I recall right). Oh and the only thing we ask in return for helping you out is that you post pictures when you get your wheels on the blazer!

Thanks guys, I think I'll be going with 20s when I get them.
Not sure when I'll be getting them though, I working on a full audio system first.
2 12" Fi BL subs, ported about a 33Hz, running 1.5kW per sub.

After that, I'll be getting rims. Also, by then, I may have to decided to put a few inches of lift on there and get some 33s and take it offroad. It is a 4x4 after all. :P

And I'll definitely be posting pics, don't worry about that!
