Hey i just put on new 255/70R15 Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires on stock rims and no wheel spacers. They fit great and do not rub at full turn on streets. Haven't taken it to trails yet. But here is a couple pics of them to see for anyone looking for good tire sizes. Hopefully this works with the pics. If not just go to my garage and you can see it there.

Also being i have the 4 door Blazer my spare tire is under the body. So i found out only a 235/75/R15 tire is the biggest that will fit under for me. The 235/75/R15 is 28.9 inches in diameter and the 255/70/R15 is 29.1 inches in diameter. For me getting it in the 235/75/R15 barely wiggled into place. Oh and my Blazer came stock with 235/70/R15 which is 28 inches in diameter.

Damn i didn't even think to air it down abit. I even keep a small compressor in the Blazer so no problem airing it back up.

The 255/70/15 is a great size for a factory height Blazer. I ran them for almost 3 years before I started going bigger. They look a lot meatier than the 235's, and I never had any problems with them either.

These tires are great. I did light trailing with them once by the river. I was alone so i didn't chance it in the mud (we have clay) but i didn't rub any with light flexing and the loose dirt was nothing. Just like driving on pavement only bumpier. I am going to put spacers on the back end to line all the wheels up then maybe i will have someone to pull me out and i will see how the Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires really do in the mud.

Ok a little more on how the tires are doing. I went on some trails yesterday and flexed through rutts about a foot deep. Didn't rub anywhere, i wasn't at full turn though, and went over everything nicely. The Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires did really good for the trails and biting in the dirt. Once we got close to the river and got in the slick clay i had to goose the gas a bit to clear the tread out good but it still did just as good as my buddy that has Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires. So overall i am very happy with the tires i have and the size tire as well. I do think before winter hits i am going to put a 2" shackle lift in the rear and 1.5" t key lift in the front for a bit more clearance.

Did you get it to fit in the spare carrier?
