Backspace, offset

Backspace, offset
I'm unable to find info on the stock dimensions of the factory 16x8 Extreme wheels. I'm thinking of upgrading to 17 or 18 in. rims to increase tire selection. I know backspace and offset are dimensions to consider when upgrading wheels.

RE: Backspace, offset
Considering that they are the same as any 2wd rim as far as backspacing is concerned, they should be 4" to 4.5" back spacing. Since you have the rims already, it should be easy enough for you to check...

RE: Backspace, offset
I take posession of the Blazer tomorrow, so I can't check. I wanted to do some wheel shopping to see what I can get away with.
That's my old '88 K 1500 in the background.

Best bet is to find your lug pattern selection of rims and then look for any with a 2inch lip those majority of the time have the best backspacing for our blazer's!! If your interested my buddy opened up his own rim and tire shop and can ship to just about anywhere except I think overseas, but his name is Justin and his shop is called Elegance by Design and his number is 602-390-1071 tell him that Thompson sent you to talk to him and he will take care of you cheaper then anyone else!! I have been boys with him for 10yrs!!
