Iroc Z Rims

Iroc Z Rims
I am having a hard time finding info on this so here it goes, I would like to fit some 87 Camaro IROC-Z wheels on my 2003 4wd 2dr Jimmy.
From what I understand the stock rims are 15x7 with 6'' backspacing and the iroc's are 15x8 with 4.75" of backspacing in the Front and 5.25" of backspacing in the Rear. What does less backspacing mean in terms of clearing my tires? Would it be wiser to buy 4 rear or perhaps 4 front? And if it is possible, what kind of tires could possibly fit at stock height? 245/75r16 or 245/70r16 or 235/75r16?
I know that's a lot of questions.. Any help or insights would be appreciated.
