One way to look at it is this. The problem you have and post may be a common problem others are having or soon will have. Therefore the old posts with : Problem / Solution may very well help someone else on the Forum who has the same problem. Look at it as a ready reference for Blazer owners! That's why it is so important to always post the solution to your problem.

That's exactly right and also why you will see so many posts about using the search function because so many things have been asked and solved that most likely any issue you encounter will be resolved with a bit of searching.

A good example of the service these collection of posts offer newbies as well as those who have been here a while is the Bump Stop. What is a bump stop? Do I have one. Where is it? What does it look like. What does it do? Do a search and you will find you have them on the front control arms. By now it probably looks like a marshmellow roasted over a campfire and it is no longer performing its function. This may be found in the 'Steering and suspension' section or the 1st or 2nd Gen. section by doing a search.
