Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
I found this Blazer after it sat in a field for two years. The previous owner dropped a bolt in the distributor hole and couldn't find it so he started pulling parts off until he was down to the block. He finally dropped the project and left it in the field. I have done all work myself except for paying a mechanic to show me how to adjust the TV cable and how to get the timing/mixture correct.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
383 Stroker with 670 CFM Holley Street Avenger. 700r4 Transmission.
NP-208 Transfer Case.
10-bolt Rear Axle.
10-bot Front Axle.
Suspension Modifications:
None so far. Once everything else is done and the truck is a reliable daily driver, I will replace all front end bushings and bearings. I plan to leave the suspension at the stock height.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Stock rally wheels.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Exterior has been shaved of all trim. Interior is relatively bare with herculiner on the floor. All gauges and dash lights work.
Future Modifications:
I found a set of stock aluminum alloy billet wheels. Planning to mount stock tires on the stock wheels for best performance. Once all the mechanical work is done, I plan to install a new A/C condenser, accumulator, and compressor. Evaporator core is already installed with a repaired and sealed cover. I'm trying to decide if I want to paint it myself. Read more ยป
