93 S10 Blazer fuel issue
I replaced the original fuel filter yesterday with a new one and now I'm burning gas tremendously. Now every time I drive her smoke pours out of the exhaust. I know I have a coolant leak somewhere(constantly adding coolant everyday so she don't overheat) and all signs point to having a bad head gasket but I've had those problems for a couple months now. I haven't been getting the power and acceleration I'm suppose to but still did not have the smoke pouring out of the exhaust pipe every time I push on the gas. Could it be my old Blazer doesn't like the much cleaner gas she's getting with the new fuel filter? She has 246081 miles right now. Or could it be theres too much gas gas getting to the engine so a bad fuel regulator?? Please help.

This link explains how to test the fuel delivery system. The procedures are very similar, but the pressure specs are different for yours. Fuel pump activation is done either by cycling the ignition, or applying battery voltage to the red pump prime wire under the hood. Post all 4 readings and we can analyze them. https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-ge...eakdown-88305/
