'94 Orifice Tube Location [Pics]
Hello all,
Just wanted to post this to help out anyone who, like me, didn't know where to find the orifice tube for replacement.
Vehicle:
1994 S10 Blazer 4WD
Auto trans, 4WD
4.3L LT Tahoe trim
Full album:
1994 S10 Blazer AC Replacements - Album on Imgur
Web searches led me to think it was located here under the battery:

Turns out this is not correct. I couldn't find it in either rigid line. It's actually behind the receiver dryer, closer to the passenger seat. Here is a sequence of images showing my replacement:

It's just to the left of the high pressure line: see black cap with "H" on it for reference:

Note the orientation that it comes out of the hole! Use a pair of pliers to snag the plastic tube:

Install is the reverse process. You should be able to simply push the new one in with your finger, though try not to bend it - it is plastic, after all!
Good luck! And don't be dumb like me and take the battery tray out for no reason!
