Default backfiring

Have a 99 Blazer V6 4x4 and now when I first pull out in the morning I am getting a popping backfiring noise thru the throttle body. The car feels like its being held back then I get this noise a few times. After that the car runs ok.
Any body have any ideas as to what this could be? I could really use the advise
Thanks

Backfiring is usually a timing or ignition problem. You can also try disconnecting the maf sensor to see if it helps, if it does it needs cleaned. Have you done a tune up on it?
