Default Blazer shaft in bravada?

Ive been looking for something really cheap to mess around with on my buddies property and do some offroading with a buddy and his 98 cherokee. I found a 1992 Oldsmobile Bravada for really cheap and ended up picking it up because it was solid. I paid $600 for this thing so I don't want to put a ton of money into it. I didn't pay attention until the next day that it was missing the front driveshaft when I was welding up a hole in the exhaust.

I know the bravada isnt the same as a blazer with manual 4wd as its AWD but I've heard of people putting Bravada front drive shafts onto blazers which leads to my next question.

Anyone tried or know if a Blazer front driveshaft would fit into a 92 awd bravada? None of the junkyards near me have any bravadas but tons of blazers. If not i'm just going to sell it as i'll profit as this is a good running driving vehicle.

if its missing the front shaft, chances are there are problems with the awd, transfer case, front diff ect.

The front spins freely and no noises when driving. I jacked up the rear end put it in drive and the transfer case was spinning in front

removing the front shaft on these when they have AWD is real bad for the components from what I have read.

but with that being said, you can not use the shaft out of the blazer from what I am reading.
unless you search around, you can get a new one on rock auto for 364, which is expensive.

I was reading from websites I found on google including this one and saw that some people removed them for mileage then put back in at a later date. From whatelse I was reading the driveshafts are the same but one uses CV style and the other U joints. I'm going to check out my local junk yard this week and see if they have any bravadas in recently or perhaps check under some blazers for the heck of it.

If not i'll probably throw it on craigslist and look for something else again. Doesn't matter a whole lot to me as I still have my DD 96 Tahoe

Went to the scrap yard, pulled a 93 blazer shaft and front diff yoke. Couldn't get the one off the T case though. It looks like it should all work once I buy one for the T case. I did take it offroad a bit today though and it didn't do half bad with just the G80 in the rear working. But theres not really mud right now as its been 90+ everyday with no rain for weeks.
