Exclamation Bad Oil leak and oil pressure problem

I have a 91 4.3L it has a bad oil leak. It is coming from driver side around oil pan. It started as a drip now it is more of a constant stream. Not a mechanic there are 2 hoses that run along it. Not exactly sure what that part is. But the oil is leaking right around those 2 hoses. Could they have anything to do with it? Any advice will help out a lot. Also oil pressure gauge jumps around

Its going to be the lines,or the paper gasket/ and oring on the housing the lines run into. pressure wash the area clean, and let it run and watch for the leak
possibilities :

1. If its seeping around the adapter (where the 2 oil lines run into) its just a gasket, and a oring that needs replaced.

2. if its leaking from where the lines run into the adapter, its just 2 small orings. (one on each line. might as well replace both of em?)

3. another culprit could be the actual lines. look at where the black hose runs into the metal part of the lines (where its crimped together) they leak from there too. you gotta replace the whole lines then.

Thank you. Would that cause oil pressure to jump around too? Sorry I am not too good at figuring the things out. I can just fix it once I figure it out.

ehhh. maybe. if the leaks bad enough. (streaming out). Is the gauge steadily moving around or is it popping really fast?

It jumps around more when driving. Sometimes it will just bounce back and forth. And at times you give it gas and it drops to zero

That's what had me thinking oil pump but I didn't know for sure where it'd leak if it was

if it flicks really fast then id try replacing the sending unit (driver side, beside the distributor). Do that before spending big money and time on other things.

keep us updated

by the way,the gasket set you need for the leak if its not the hoses is
Dorman part # 82560. Give the clerk that part # and tell them its a gasket set for a oil cooler.
