bypassing the oil cooler lines
the other thread about leaky lines reminded me of a simple cheap and easy way to get rid of those things. when i bought my 93 it was going to be a offroad only truck and every line was leaking so instead of spending money and time on something i didnt need. i went to the dealer and bought this
after removing all your old lines and disconnect the adapter from the block you just thread that into the block and end up with this
that piece was like 7 bucks 2 years ago.

Has anyone done this (or if it even possible on 95's to 2004's)....??

It's $6.46 at GMPartsDirect.com. Seems too simple!

Considering that you can barely see this area on a later model 4wd...

yeah technically i dont even know if this works on the older 4x4s either. i tore out all my suspension and put a solid axle under there so i have all the room in the world. but seen someones post in another thread on a newer truck. dont think its gonna happen
