Default distributer help

Ok i can not get my blazer to quit missing, dieing, and lacking power. When i get the truck at TDC the rotor on the distributer points between number 4 and number 5. Do i just take the distributer back out and at tdc put it in where it points to #1???? My timing is off. Just about the only other thing i have to replace is my ECM and knock sensor PLEASE HELP SOMEONE i need to get this thing on the road. Thanks

I guess nobody that has read your thread feels comfortable giving an answer, that's the way it sometimes works out.
Of course nobody can tell what you're driving, either. If you put your vehicle's info into a signature that shows at the bottom of each of your posts, that might help out. I'm going to take a stab at guessing that you have a 1st gen Blazer because I think you once mentioned that you have a '94, so I'll move this thread to the '1st Gen Tech' section and see if that gets more attention.

This is a topic that has been discussed in some pretty good detail in other posts. Instead of finding those posts on your own, you say that this forum is useless. Kudos! Thanks for letting us know what you really think. Good luck with your problems.

Okay. Since you obviously don't know what a 'signature' is, let me help out. If you will look at the bottom of this post I am writing you will see the information about my truck. That is a 'signature'. Go into your user profile and look for the section marked 'signature' where you currently have written "The Hu$tler' and remove that. Replace it with information about your truck and then you will have your vehicle information in your signature. Any questions about that?
