freeze plugs

Default freeze plugs

why would one freeze plug go when the temp outside is in the 50's-70's???????? how hard are they to change? my passanger front one went and now it is stuck at my work. the only good thing is i work at a quick lube and can fix it there after hours. any help would be great thanks.

They can be a pain to change for sure. Was it the one on the side of the block?
