Fuel pump

Fuel pump
I thought my fuel pump died so I replaced it and then hooked it up on the ground before putting the tank back up under. But it will not turn on. There is power to the relay and power going back to the tank. Also there is no fuse to be found at all. I hear it could be a oil pressure switch? It will briefly start with starting fluid or gas in the TBI

I am still trying and I am unable to figure anything out. This is very confusing to me

If you have power at the connector to the pump back at the tank, then it is either the electrical connection there or a faulty pump. Have you tried powering the pump with another dedicated 12V source?

Just to cover the frustrating, run a continuity test on the wires inside the tank that go from the sending unit to the pump I've seen these break inside the insulation on a few occasions the first time it took me a week to locate the problem now it's one of the first things I check.

Fuel pump is in and working well. The old pump was most certainly dead. Had a warranty so I got a new one. The reason why the new pump would not turn on when I put everything back together was that sometime after the fuel pump died the ECMB fuse blew.
