My pump is for a TBI which only needs around 11 psi.

but on what i said last, you should get about 60 while running.

where are you checking the pressure at?
also, when you did the pump the last time, did you change the fuel filter?

I checked it at the schrader valve. When hey on, it shoots to 62. But runningm idling it is about 50 psi, when I stab the throttle, it goes to about 58 psi. Brand new spider and fpr. Brand new fuel filter, all installed approx 300 miles ago or 3 months. Not my daily driver. I noticed it start to miss at idle and the whine of the fuel pump gotten much louder. Not sure how to check the pressure at the filter, I don't have any fittings for that. Ground is excellent as well

sorry to jump in with little help, i have a selfish question, as i will probably be doing a fuel pressure check shortly: does the fuel pump often make such a loud wine? is that normal? healthy? not good? and where does one connect the pressure gauge? just prior to the filter comign from the gas tank?

i have also just changed spider injector, fuel filter, and the issue of mine stalling out has ceased thus far. 500km so far anyways.
