How do I know if I have a press on yoak seals or a screw yoak seals?
I have no idea what this means and I need new u-joints for my front shaft on a 94 s-10 4.3L 4x4 blazer. I got the press on yoke seal u-joints because that was all they had at the store. How do I know if I need press on yoke seals or screw on yoke seals? I have 4 retaining clips, no c-clips and for some reason it doesn't seem right to me and I'm thinking I need the screw on yoke seal u-joints for my front shaft. Someone please help, I wanna get this done today.

This is the joint that is between the pinion and the drive shaft right? (at the differential)
When you say "screw on" and "press on" styles you're talking about the method in which two caps are secured. If what you have pictured will rest in the pinion yoke and then has straps that keep it attached then I would call that "screw on", not the best descriptor.
If the replacement u-joint did not come with grooved caps for 'c'-clips then you have the wrong joint.

So I should use a u-joint that has clips for the front drive shaft, that's what I was thinking. I currently have this joint Duralast/U-Joint (1-0153DL) | 1994 Chevrolet S10 Blazer 4WD 6 Cylinders W 4.3L CPI | AutoZone.com
Which Looks like it would work if I just pressed the caps on which is the stock setup but then it doesn't have c-clips to hold the joint in just encase pressing it back in doesn't hold.
This is what I think I need, Duralast/U-Joint (1-0445DL) | 1994 Chevrolet S10 Blazer 4WD 6 Cylinders W 4.3L CPI | AutoZone.com
It has c-clips on the inside and only in 2 places which seems to go along with what the connection is like since like 70-k5 said 2 sides of the u-joint rest in the pinion yoke and are held in by the straps.
How do the snap rings work for this one or do you just use the c-clips after you press the caps on? I am guessing you don't use the snap rings.
