IAC and identification

They dont adjust. They move in and out electronically to adjust air flow

If you read on in your manual, it should tell you that an IAC that has already been installed and used cannot be adjusted. The pressure needed to move the plunger will break the gear in the stepper motor. You can only adjust brand new ones (as you read) when first installing.

The manual didn't actually explain it so thank you for explaining that.
