Default im getting tired of my s10 Hoopty edition...

the other day on the way to work, i started getting this angry chipmunk chirping sound and then at idle the oil pressure dropped to 0 and check gages light came on but as soon as you got moving the sound stopped and oil pressure went to normal. As long as theres a load on it, i get nothing abnormal, its only at idle. Thought maybe the AC clutch was going and causing drag and making it bog down at idle, but im not sure its that. sound sounds like it comes from rear of motor.
drove it all day sunday, no problem except when i go to start it, it races at first but then goes to normal idle.
well today i figured id fool around with it, i found my pcv valve was gunky, so i replaced that and on the other side where the vent is thats connected to the air box by a hose, the hose was ultra mushy so i replaced the hose. started it and went to feel the hose, gave it a lil squeeze and it started making angry chipmunk sounds again, had my brother get under it as i did it again and he says its coming from lower back of the motor. im for the life of me at a loss of where look or what to do. ive spent a ton on this effing thing and it just keeps breaking... Any suggestions before i sell it or scrap?
