Default Low power output, black smoke

Hi

I have a 1985 S10 Blazer 2.8 V6 carb. And it feels like there is a 1 liter engine in it.
On a small hill i can only do 60-70 km/h
Its really slow on kick off`s

The other day i noticed black smoke and sutt coming out of the exhaust. Could it be that its using way too much fuel?
Uses around 2L per mile.

If its the fuel mixture does anyone know how i can tune that up? Have been looking at Autozone.com but cant find anything about fuel mixture.

Thanks

I would start with a tune-up. If you're lucky -as part of the tune-up make sure to do the fuel filter and you might luck out-have that be your poor power issue. Good luck and good luck changing that fuel filter-great idea GM had there! Jerry
