Minor problems
Ok, I have a 89 blazer 2 door 4.3 first thing is when I try and start it, it doesn't turn over right away it takes around 3-4seconds usually, then it will idle high and drop down after 10-15seconds, is that normal? and my passenger electric window will roll down about 2 inches then drop all the way down and I have to take apart the door panel to get it back up, any suggestions?

RE: Minor problems
As far as the window goes, is your regulator (metal arm that holds the buttom of the window to the motor) attached to the window itself, I think a single bolt holds that in place and is supposed to move about 5 inches left to right in a metal track when the window goes up and down.
You could put the window up, then undo the regulator bolt that attaches it to the window, and turn the switch to make the regulator go up and down to see if it works properly. If working alone I found a pair of needle nose vice grip thingies helpful in latching it to the metal piece under the window to keep it up, so you can work on the regulator. Or you can have a friend hold the window up for you, girlfiend could work too, but a wife forget about it. LOL
Do the teeth on the regulator mesh with the gears on the motor properly... I would unscrew the 4 bolts that hold the regulator arm to the door panel and pull out the regulator it should come out with the motor attached to it, remember to disconect the wires to the motor first, after you remove the negative battery terminal.
I just replaced the driver side motor on mine so some of this is fresh in my head still.
