Default Need Help

I've had my 92 s10 blazer for a year and a few months ago the ac and heat stopped working all together. None of the controls work but it blows hot air through the vents at your feet. Is there anyone that might know what caused this and how to go about fixin it.

I am also having problems with the 4x4. When in 4lo the truck goes into a lower gear but the front wheels don't turn like they should. Does the same thing in 4hi. Can't seem to figure out what is causing this. Thanks for the help

Sound like a vacuum issue. Although Im not sure if a 92 hvac works with a vacuum. But if it does you have aleak somewhere. When there is a vacuum issue it resorts to floor and defrost as default

IMHO the 92 is pretty much the same as the 94's. all vacuum on the switch.

If it is not switching any vents on and off /up down max ac / floor it looks like the source is gone.

Most of the time it fails from the TBI / Spider to the vaccuum reservoir. The lines get hard and break.
Could be an easy fix. Fingers crossed.
