Need refresher on how to do the spark plugs on a 94 4.3 Blazer
At least one of my plugs looks like this
Car runs better after replacing, but not perfect. Leads me to think at least one more looks like this. Notice they are "RapidFire" plugs. I'm replacing with CR43TS.
Must take them out first, to see.
What's the best method to get to all of them? (I have flex socket to get around PS for the driver side) ..
Thanks.

Use NGK or Delco plugs. I have had best luck with them in both of the first gens I have had.
gapped to .60
I was able to get them all from under the hood, but depending on if the motor mounts are sagging or broken the #3 on the drivers side is a pain to get to because of the steering shaft. I have tried the through the wheel well method.
But the best I have found to work was to get the spark plug socket on the plug then attach the wrench.

There's two thermal recommendations for the plugs. I've been running with the cooler one for years and all the plugs look rather blackened. Once I changed to the hotter recommended plug they started showing brown. 1994 service manual recommends:
4.3 VIN Z + VIN W = AC Type CR43TSM
For replacements various manufacturers list two different replacements. I go with the hotter but that may also depend on your location. In AZ I might go with the cooler ones.
Always running on low rpm and lack of maintenance makes them look like yours. Should not show signs of liquid black stuff on the tip thou. Would need better pic of the tip and description of the deposit.

Also, I'm changing the plugs as a result of this:

This one has some filler. But after the first couple minutes, begins the diagnosis:

The plug you saw had the electrode sucked out. And if it wasn't my only ride to work, it would remain parked. I have another car, waiting on an engine replacement.. not being used right now.
If there is no more embed then please click the link.. and richphotos, I have the ones that say CR43TS on the box, I did not know there were different types heat ranges!

Had a full tune-up done today. 6 ACDelco CR43TS plugs, ACDelco spark plug wire set, and I assume ACDelco cap and rotor. It runs MUCH better, just still has some shake, whereas there was no shake before.
What suspects remain? What could that "slight roughness" be?
