Default New blazer and some swap questions

Just bought myself a 1991 S10 blazer 4x4 4.3l that has Edelbrock shorty headers, Smog pump delete, magna flow exhaust and hypertech chip. I had some questions about doing a head swap, intake manifold and a cam.

I have a set of 95/96? vortec heads -need to check the numbers to double check- and was wondering what manifold i needed. I have seen some stuff for the Edelbrock 2114 manifold w/ an adapter plate. But was looking at the Edelbrock 2111 on their website and not sure if that will work.
Also looking at cams, should i go with a stock 95/96 cam or go with an aftermarket on?

I've got a lot brewing in my head and could use some insight
Im looking to stick with TBI and dont plan on swapping to carb any time soon.

The stock intake aint that bad compared to most aftermarket ones I've seen, the smog pump only takes like 1 maybe 2 hp to turn, exhaust is in the eye of the beholder, the stock manifolds are supposed to be good to like 3-400 HP, and mass produced computer chips are junk.

About the only real gain from the parts you suggested is swapping to the newer heads.

96+ heads will have vertical intake bolt orientation while the 95-older heads had the intake bolts perpendicular to the gasket surface. That is the only thing you'll have to be sure of.

the 96+ heads are marginally better than the earlier ones.

Headers will add HP any day of the week and twice on sunday , How much hp is the question. Every engine I ever stuck em on you can at least tell a difference.
I realize they are already on there, Im just adding my 2 pennys

99% of the time I will agree whole heart but its been proven the stock manifolds on a 4.3 flow fine until you start getting to the 3-400 HP range. Most of these tests were done on syclone and typhoons so I don't know crap about 2nd gens but from my understanding the manifolds didn't change much. I doubt anybody on here are pumping out those numbers so most the time headers are just for show.
