Default Power door button / lock does not work on driver side.

I finally got a small chance to get out to my baby. I was looking to see what style of door plastic door clips was needed. While looking around I did a few other things. I moved the passenger side door mat and was greeted with a horrible surprise. The floor mat was from a ford... J/K Actually what I found was the mess left from the leaky heater core they replaced. Not really upset at this. But confirms that the story on the replaced heater core is probably true. I then cleaned up the mess. I was then testing out the other door locks and buttons. I found two issues. The driver side door lock / button does not work at all. The passenger side button and lock works fine. The back two doors also lock. The back window glass button also works. The next problem is when you manual lock some of the locks. There is a growling noise. I assume from the actuator. Since I'm fixing and replacing door locks and power windows. Can this noise be fixed with grease or oil? Also what can I check on the driver side door? When I take off the panel and is there any parts I should get from the junk yard?

Thanks,

Josh
