power window problems

Default power window problems

my power windows are gettin pretty slow on my 94 blazer. sometimes the driver side window will stop halfway up and if i wait a few minutes usually goes on up when i try it again..... i am thinkin i will proably need to replace the window motors in the doors..... anyone done this before or know of a cheap way to do it... (i've heard how $$$ these can be to replace)

I think you can get new motors for about 40-50 bucks a piece. Not that hard to do. just need to pull off door panel and drill out the rivets holding the motors in (after you secure the window)

can i suggest spraying a little WD-40 on the window gear. that is if its anything like a manual window. i replaced my door and sprayed that gear with WD-40 while i was at it and my window went up a lot smoother.
