Default slow response acceleration

I just finished rebuilding my TBI on an 89 4.3L. It drastically improved the performance, and the idle is almost too quiet. One thing I noticed, and something similar to this happened years ago when I drove it more, there was a slight delay in acceleration when I hit the pedal. It took a second then would take off. About 7 years ago this would happen most often when I got off the interstate, and at that time I was getting a MAP sensor error. I've since changed the MAP sensor. Any other emissions sensors I should check, the oxygen sensor maybe? Any ideas are appreciated.

I'm not sure if this could be related, but I noticed today my oil pressure is reading a lot higher at idle. Yesterday it was minimal, maybe 10 psi, today at idle it is showing about 40 psi. Any ideas as to what could cause this?

Thanks, I'll check that out. I think the oil was just running cold, I ran the engine for a while and pressure went down.
