OK, I confess, I'm writing here before I even try to fix the problem.
My accelerator pedal is very hard to push down from an idle. Once it is depressed a little bit, it's easy to manipulate properly.
I know what's causing the problem: the lever on the side of the intake body has a forward angle of about 55-60 degrees. Once the pedal clears that initial angle and the lever becomes more perpandicular to the cable, it moves freely.
Here's the question: Is that lever adjustable or is it fixed? Could the bracket that holds the cable be bent down to where the approach of the cable is too low?
Seems like it should be an easy fix.

Seriously, it's a 1994, up till now I didn't know there was a type. It has the 5.7 , fuel injection with LP gas too.
The linkage I'm referring to is on the bottom of the throttle body.
I imagine you would like to see a picture of the linkage, correct? Want pics. of anything else while I'm under the hood?

On another note, the previous owner had second thoughts about selling it (Ha) He thinks he let it go too cheap.
He did tell me he has the original rims for it, so I agreed to let him have the 20" monsters for the originals.
