Default Transmission fluid leak

An odd thing has happened with my 03 blazer 4dr ls... I had it parked in my in law's garage for a couple of months and nothing... When I moved it to the driveway a day later there is a puddle of transmission fluid underneath it... Why would that happen and is there a frequent place they leak from?

I would start by checking the transmission cooler lines. They run from the passenger side of the transmission, along the engine oil pan, and into the pass. side of the radiator. They have a tenancy to rot out over time, especially where the lines clamp to the side of the oil pan.

Where is the leak under the truck exactly?

If it's towards the front as in under the radiator area, could be coming from the cooler lines where they go into the rad. If it's directly under the middle of the truck where the trans is, could be the cooler lines as suggested by chevyriders, could be the main output seal at the drive shaft.

You're certain it's trans fluid, not engine oil right?

The lower intake gaskets are known to leak on the back side and run down the back of the block where it meets up to the trans and cause many people to jump straight to a rear main...
